Mark brings a wealth of local knowledge and has been in the industry for several years. His previous experience with the agronomy and transportation industry will serve him well in this new position. Mark will be working closely with Greg to transition fully into the manager role in the coming months.

The Sinai Coop Elevator was incorporated in 1921 as a farmer owned cooperative that was originally organized to buy and sell grain, potatoes, seeds, fuel, coal, wood, salt, flour, and some livestock to our local community. Over the years, our business model has changed somewhat but we are always here to provide top notch products and service to our customers.

Grain Policies
Scale Tickets- All grain will be considered "SOLD" unless scale tickets are marked (Contract, Sell, Grain Bank, or Price Later). Please make sure your drivers know your plans when delivering.
In addition, please let the office know how to disburse the sale proceeds BEFORE settlement.
SOLD grain will be priced at the close of business the following day.
New Customers-please contact the office to set up your account and provide payment instructions.
Sell acceptable moisture is 15%
Grain Bank acceptable moisture is 13.5%
Price Later will be offered at .06/BU /month for corn and .07/BU/month for soybeans. No minimum required.
All PL grain must be priced by 9/1 of the following year. Once the PL contract has expired, a check will be issued and sent to you unless you make other arrangements BEFORE the contract expires. Acceptable moisture for PL is 14%.
